Joe Mower and Russell Leek have become some of the first Officials in the country to receive an award for 40 years service under the England Athletics ‘officials service achievement recognition scheme’.
The scheme celebrates the incredible talent, dedication, and hard work of this amazing volunteer community. Officials are recognised for their length of service to the sport of athletics across five, 10, 20 and 40 years as a thank you for their support, time, and effort in ensuring athletes, coaches, event organisers, and spectators have an enjoyable experience at events across the country.
