Age Groups

Senior Men/Women – must be at least 20 years of age on 31/12/2024. Born or before 31/12/2004.
Under 20 Men/Women – must have reached their 17th birthday by midnight 31/8/2024 – 1/9/2024 but NOT their 20th birthday by midnight 31/12/2024, born on or between 1/1/2005 and 31/8/2007.
Under 17 Men/Women – must have reached their 15th birthday by midnight 31/8/2024 – 1/9/2024 but NOT their 17th birthday by midnight 31/8/2024 – 1/9/2024, born on or between 1/9/2007 and 31/8/2009.
Under 15 Boys/Girls – must have reached their 13th birthday by midnight 31/8/2024 – 1/9/2024 but NOT their 15th birthday by midnight 31/8/2024 – 1/9/2024, born on or between 1/9/2009 and 31/8/2011.
Under 13 Boys/Girls – must have reached their 11th birthday by midnight 31/8/2024 – 1/9/2024 but NOT their 13th birthday by midnight 31/8/2024– 1/9/2024, born on or between 1/9/2011 and 31/8/2013.

Track & Field Records and Standards

10,000m Track Championships

Saturday 29th June, Melbourne Stadium, Chelmsford
Hosted by Chelmsford Athletic Club

This years Miles of Miles festival will host the Eastern AA, Essex AA and Suffolk AA 10,000m track Championships. This is the perfect opportunity for the best 10,000 track and road runners in the region to pit their wits against each other.

The event will consist of the following:
– Eastern Athletic Association – Women’s Open & Men’s Open Championships for *SEN+
– Essex Athletic Association – Women’s Open & Men’s Open Championships for SEN, 40+ & 50+
– Suffolk County Athletic Association – Women’s Open & Men’s Open Championships for *SEN+
Plus
– Open Graded 10,000m track races For SEN+

Athletes meeting the Suffolk eligibility criteria (born in the county, resident for 9 months or member of the armed forces serving in the county) can compete in the Suffolk 10,000m Championships. Medals will be presented to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female athletes (no age category awards)
