2nd January: Les Beckett 1921-2009. It is with much sadness that we learn of the death of Les Beckett on 30th December 2009 in Mill Lane Nursing Home, Felixstowe. Les had been battling with the effects of a stroke for some 30 months although he had been well looked after at Mill Lane. A service of Thanksgiving will be held at St Andrew's Church, St Andrew's Road, Felixstowe at 2.00 p.m. on Thursday 14th January 2010. By request, "No Flowers"
